Resource mobilization training, answered.
What does resource mobilization training cost in Kenya?
Fees follow course length: Ksh 30,000 for a 2-day course, Ksh 45,000 for 3 days and Ksh 55,000 for 4 days, per participant, covering tuition, materials, refreshments and certificate. The East African Resource Mobilization and Fundraising Conference in Arusha is USD 800. In-house programs and specialist cohorts are quoted after we understand your team size and goals.
Who should attend resource mobilization training?
Fundraising and grants teams, project managers and officers, program coordinators, MEAL officers, university grants offices, county government teams, and consultants who need to design fundable projects and win donor funding.
Are trainings online or in person?
The 2026–27 public cohorts all run in person — Nairobi, Naivasha, Machakos, Mombasa or Arusha — because the room, the peer network and the clinic work are half the value. Any program can also be delivered in-house at your offices, on site or online, on request.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who complete the modules and assessments receive a certificate in resource mobilization and proposal development, and where applicable NITA documentation for Kenyan employers.
Which resource mobilisation course is best for NGO staff?
Start with Donor Research, Mapping, Profiling and Matching (2 days) if your problem is finding the right funders, or The Art and Science of Writing Winning Proposals (4 days) if you already know your donors and lose at the proposal stage. Leadership teams and boards should take Developing a Vibrant Resource Mobilization Strategy or The Role of Boards in Resource Mobilization.
How long are the courses and where are they held?
Courses run 2 to 4 days. The 2026–27 calendar has seven cohorts: Nairobi (September, January), Naivasha (October, February), Arusha (November conference), Machakos (March) and Mombasa (May). Fees are Ksh 30,000 for 2 days, Ksh 45,000 for 3 days and Ksh 55,000 for 4 days; the Arusha conference is USD 800.
How is Resmob different from other training providers in Kenya?
Resource mobilization is our only practice area — we are not a generalist training catalogue. Every trainer has built real funding pipelines, and flagship cohorts include 90 days of post-training clinic support.
